Gimme a high Five -Lasting Memories #818

This month, Wendy is our hostess and will be challenging us to have fun with number play.
For the current challenge, use the following:

5- photos

5 - stars

5- word title

5 - embellishments

I used a little more than five stars with the border,

although I do have 5 single stars scattered in the embellishment clusters.

I fussy-cut around the cast-offs of leftover stars.

The title was cut from the graduation program; I do have one in my son's school album too.

Thanks for stopping by to take a peek, and make sure to share your creation at Lasting Memories.

I got one layout done with the Creative Memories Virtual Crop

September 2026 #2

The layout actually calls for four photos, but I used the space to journal and add my title.

I need to get back into scrapbooking more.  I enjoy it, but I never seem to have enough time to get it done.

Laasting Memories #816 3 is a crowd

This month, Wendy is our hostess and will be challenging us to have fun with number play.
For the current challenge, use the following:

3- photos

3 - triangles

3- word title

3 - embellishments

I did two different takes on the challenge.

One with just the triangles and embellishments, which was meant to look like party hats.  Personally, I think they look more like fake Christmas trees than hats.

Second

Same photos and cupcake, but the triangles are smaller, and the orientation is askew.  (Feels more like a piñata, plus I added some paper stripes to fill the space and add color and texture.)

I was going to keep just the cupcake with words as my title, but ended up adding the "Hip, Hip, Hooray" stripe, which I then repeated in my journaling.

All the pieces on the second layout are from my birthday scraps from a couple of different collections, but all seem to work together.
