Sketches in thyme #199

I've starting going through my troop photos from 2013 and got this layout of our service unit end of  year celebration.  One of my girls bridged to adults.  Super exciting. I used the following sketch from Sketches in thyme #199

I split the top photo to include my Junior getting recognized for earning her bronze award and then Mikaela bridging to adult.  The bottom picture has the Service unit team and I receiving awards

This cute little camera is from my May kit.  Little bit of chalk ink around the edges and on the heart.
I also used the sequins from the kit as well, something new for me.  Not sure it was the right choice but it is helping me stay on track with using most of what I receive before the next kit comes in

How many photos can you fit

This weeks challenge at lasting Memories is how many photos can you fit or use on one page.
I did pretty good with this one with 8 photos on the page.
You have to look closely between the legs of the ninja for the 8th photo.

The Ninja is a template that we used to create these super cute Ninja dolls.
of course I had to add some washi tape for the belt and head band on the paper version.
I also used part of the leaders packet for the title and description of what we did on Friday night.  This is the title page with all the random camp photos that go along with my 2 page layout from the use only four photos challenge at Lasting memories

Thanks for taking a peak and I can wait to see what you create

Stash busting with camp photos and a sketch

I found this over at Sketch and scrap for their flashback Friday
I switched the orientation of my photos and left them a bit longer then the sketch
as I wanted the full length of the Arrows.

I'm not sure about putting a title on it, but might still do that

Another layout

Freaky Fast Friday and using up my April kit

I'm a new  to the flavor of the month kit subscriber over at the scrap room and I have a goal of using paper from every kit before I get the next months shipment.  Now I have just enough to play along next month with the Throwback challenge as paper/ kits have to be 2 month old or older.
This is the bits and pieces I have left.  Not bad considering I've done 6 12x12 layouts

and 2 8.5x11 pages using the May Freaky Fast Formula

Same layout design both made with Ella Studios little moments

vintage photos at Lasting memories

This week continues the all about Photos theme at lasting memoires with Vintage photos.  Dig out those Sepia or Black and white photos.  It can be old or current.
We are going for the "LOOK" of vintage.

For my layout this week I used a school photo of my dad and combined it with two fun NSD challenge going over at the scrap room and scrap our stash

For the scrap room I chose sketch #4 and
almost used up all but a few scraps of my April FOTM Bo Bunny believe .

For scrap our stash challenge I went with the highlighted items from the
PRE-SELECTED stash item.

PRE-SELECTED STASH LIST:
S ~ Sequins, Staples, or Stickers
T ~ Tags, Tape, or Transparency
                                                    A ~ American Crafts, Ampersand(&),or Arrow
S ~ Stencil, Stick Pins, or Striped Print
                                                    H ~ Hashtag (#), Heart(s) or Hemp (cord)

I have my chipboard sticker "love" mounted on arrow that I covered with the heart and cloud tape
all sitting on top of a hand cut heart

I threw in one more piece of tape for good measure and another chipboard sticker to hide the seam on the polka dot banner all layered over my stripped patterned paper.

I hope that you've enjoyed my share and that you'll play along with us at Lasting memories

Lasting Memories use only 4 photos

I'm joining this weeks challenge a little late as last week was crazy busy with my mom in town for my son's birthday and 1st communion.  So with out further delay I give you the current challenge at lasting memories Use  only 4 photos on your layout.

I actually have a 2 page spread to share.  Both pages have 4 photos each
I scraplifted  the layout from an ideas forum at TSR

For the left side of the layout I altered the idea and went with 4 photos instead of 3

Super excited to have used my 3rd page kit (Simple Stories- Carpe Diem) from the scrap room.  My goal is to use paper and embellishments from all four kits before this months kit arrives. So far so good.

I'm not sure if I'm going to add any journaling as the camp was from 2013 and the girls have changed so much that some of them I'm not sure I recognize and then there are the ones that are no longer with the troop.  So far behind on the troop album that I'm just going to stick the photos down and move on
