LM#744-Lasting Memories sketch challenge

Hello all, I know it has been forever since I have shared anything with you all, lovely followers.  I'm happy to announce that I am guest designing for Lasting Memories this month.  We are doing a sketch challenge, one of my favorite challenges.
"Feel free to change the sketch up a little to fit your photos (use more or fewer photos, flip the sketch, only use one side, etc.) as long as we can see the original sketch in your layout."

I love that sketches provide inspiration.  I sometimes follow the sketch done to the exact placement and sometimes use it as a jumping-off point.  For this Alison Davis sketch from July 2020, I kept the basic background structure and the main photo layout but changed the cluster location on the left-hand side and added several smaller photos to the right along with my journaling.

Thanks for stopping by, and make sure to join us at Lasting Memories

3 in 1 March Challenges

I’m excited to have created a layout for Challenge Yourself (bling) using Rochelle’s sketch and Stacy’s tic tac toe for March.

I choose to do the diagonal with 2 photos,  a tag, and stars.

Thanks for stopping by to take a look

If you look closely at the photo below you might see that I also used Ink splatters but they are hard to see because I used shimmer ink and a yellow similar to the star paper

Little sneak peak

I’m back crafting but can’t share too much just yet but I’ll have something for you each Sunday starting at the end of the month.  I was hoping to knock out a few March challenges too, but we’ll see if that happens.

I’m off to San Diego this coming weekend to pick up my daughter from Job Corps and have a road trip to plan so I’ll catch up with you all soon

The trees have eyes

The setting sun and the darkening forest trail caused me to jump when I saw this tree! Was it a tree sprite or a Fairy come to life? Can you see the face?   The thick eyebrows, a lumpy but petite nose, and big pouty lips.

Another beautiful hike documented using  Rochelle's January Challenge

I changed the sizes of the photos and circles but kept the placement about the same.

I also combined the sketch with  Stacy's scrappy friend's tic-tac-toe
using the right-hand column of splatters, enamel dots, and twine

Thanks for stoping by to take a peak
