UIT- embossing

I'm so excited to be back on the DT at Use It Tuesday. If you're not familiar with Use it Tuesday, their mission is to get crafty people using what they already have. This week we are embossing.  Any kind of embossing- dry, heat, whatever the technique. I invite you to play along with the embossing challenge at  Use it Tuesday.

So break out your favorite embossing folder, heat gun or stylus to create a scrapbook layout, card or altered art item using mostly items from your stash and don't forget to mention what you used.

I'm making this Thank you card for Krissy, Megan and Cassey with Lane Rural Fire and Rescue.
They came to our last Girl scout meeting to talk to the girls about camp fire safety.

I was inspired by the diamond plating on the fire truck, so to mimic that design I covered card stock with aluminum foil and embossed it with cuttlebug diamond plate embossing folder.
The ribbon is from my stash as well as the stickers and all card stock.  The star is from a scrap of paper that I embossed with cuttlebug stars folder and then fussy cut out a signle star.
I hope I've inspired you to use some of your stash and would love to see what you come up with.

Please link your creation using Inlinkz by Friday  July 20th. No blog? No problem! Just use keyword USE035 when uploading to an online gallery and leave us a direct link so we can find your creation.
Please make sure to mention you are playing along with us at Use It Tuesday  (a link is great too!)
