Alsea Falls

Got some more hiking patrol pages to share.
These are from our first hike of the season to Alsea Falls.
The photos are different colors and qualities as I took them from our facebook group page photos.
The photo on the far right is a direct view up at the falls.  It's not very big, but there was lots of water going over it from all of the snow melt.

I haven't done a lot of journaling or labeling on the pages to protect the identities of the hikers.  These pages are going to be on display at various Girl scout events so less is better as far as that goes.  How ever I did write a little bit about what us leaders say to the girls.  "  In Oregon if you wait for it to stop raining you'll never get out and hike."  And YES it did rain on us, but not much.  What really got us wet was the 8- 10 inches of standing water on the trail.  It took a little coxing to get the girls to wade through it. Nothing like wading through snow melt in December

I used #108 from Sketches in thyme for this page

last up is one of our leaders and her daughter
