This weeks challenge is to scrap about your grandparent(s)
It can be anything... A trip to visit, an outing a fun story or even some heritage backgroung stuff that you want future generations to know.
We'd love to hear a favorite memory if you have one to share as well. Leave us a comment. One lucky person will receive a package in the mail full of scrappy goodness. You have to play along AND leave us a comment telling us of a memory you share with your grandparents.
I have tried to include one of my children's great grandparents in each of their 1st year albums
This page I did for my 3rd daughter Danielle and it is of my grandmother.
I really wanted to show case the photo so I kept the color scheme in line with the sepia tones of the photo and tucked all the other elements are under the photo to let the viewer know there is more to be seen. I also add a tab at the bottom of the photo.
These are the translations to the typed poems in her own hand writing.
I have them under the photo as I didn't want to detract from her beautiful photo
I included a copy of the obituary as well
Hope you'll join us this week
