We are partnering with the Double Trouble Challenges for this new challenge.
UYS challenge this week is White + One other color.
Try to have just the white and one other color varying shades are okay.
(Feel free to use neutrals like black, kraft, cream, but sparingly)
Now here are the details for the Double Trouble challenge
Make sure to share with both Use Your Stuff and Double Trouble
I'm not much of a card maker and tend to create mostly 12 x 12 layouts, so my take on the challenge will be white plus red and a little black. You can't have a layout about chess without red and black, but the majority of the layout is white.
Thanks for stopping by and remember to share your layout with us at Use Your Stuff and Double Trouble
I’m also playing along with Lasting Memories love your stash as I used a strip of washi tape
Haven, what a great page layout with your predominate red/black on white colors! What a great skill to learn in Scouts! Thank you for sharing your page with us at Double Trouble for our "Less is More" challenge! -Donna
ReplyDeleteIt's got to be pretty difficult to stick to white + 1 color in a scrapbook page... and you did a greaet job. Love the simplicity of scrapbook pages so your focal is on the memories of the photos. Great job... thanks for sharing your Design Team project with us at Double Trouble.
ReplyDeleteLove the simplicity of the colouring! Makes for a fabulous layout! Great use of the challenge! Thanks for playing along with us at Lasting Memories Layout Challenges!

ReplyDeleteGreat scrapbook page, Haven! What a perfect way to savor the moment. I remember learning to play chess when I was a Girl Scout but there are no photos. Thank you for playing along with us at Double Trouble Challenge #106.
